Getting Started Selecting a Language

3.4 Selecting a Language

You are asked to select a language the first time your new scan tool is powered on. Languages are

presented as buttons with an international country code icon, as shown in the table below:

Tap the desired language and the scan tool loads that database, and then opens the Main menu.

All subsequent screens appear in the designated language. The selected language remains

active until language is chose from the menu. You can change the language setting at any time

using the following procedure.

z To change the language setting:

1. Select Tools from the main menu.

2. Select Settings from the Tools menu.

3. Select Languages from the Settings menu.

4. Select a language from the list and press Return to exit.

The language remains as selected after powering down.
